The summit, together with the Cross-Strait Economic, trade and Cultural Forum, the two Sessions and the Straits Forum, has been listed as the four platforms for cross-Straits exchanges and cooperation. It has become the most influential platform for cross-Straits business circles featuring entrepreneurs from both sides as the main body, gathering their wisdom, strengthening dialogue and exchange, and deepening industrial cooperation.

A total of about 1,100 representatives from well-known entrepreneurs, leaders of industry and commerce organizations, small and medium-sized enterprises and young entrepreneurs from both sides of the Taiwan Straits attended the summit, and 28 enterprises including Wasu (Xiamen) Information Co., LTD were selected as the new members of the summit. Zhang Ping, vice chairman of the mainland side of the summit, and Chiang Pin-kung, vice chairman of the Taiwan side of the Summit, presented membership cards to the representatives.
