On March 18, the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Branch of the China Electricity Council (CEC) organized and held a symposium on private enterprises in the power industry in Beijing. Hao Yingjie, a member of the Party Committee and Secretary General of the CEC, as well as the President of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Branch, and Wang Jianxiang, the former Deputy Director of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. HASO, as one of the representatives of "specialized, refined, characteristic, and innovative" enterprises and new quality productivity enterprises, was invited to participate in the meeting and gave a speech. More than 50 people, including relevant responsible persons of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Branch, representatives of private enterprises in the power industry, and industry experts, attended the meeting.

At the symposium, Hao Yingjie, a member of the Party Committee and Secretary General of the CEC, as well as the President of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Branch, pointed out that since its establishment, the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Branch of the CEC has always cared about and helped the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the power industry. It is necessary to further strengthen innovation, cultivate talents, promote the integration of industry and education, and develop with integrity. The Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Branch of the CEC will always serve as a bridge for communication between small and medium-sized enterprises and the government as well as central state-owned enterprises, promptly reflect the demands of private enterprises, promote policy optimization, help build a cooperation platform for industry, education, and research, promote cooperation between enterprises and universities as well as scientific research institutions, and facilitate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, so as to help enhance the innovation capacity of private enterprises.

Wang Jianxiang, the former Deputy Director of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, delivered a report titled "Vigorously Support the Healthy Development of the Private Economy and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises" at the meeting. He deeply explored the important significance of the private economy and small and medium-sized enterprises in China's economic and social development, and systematically expounded the development path and policy support from "specialized, refined, characteristic, and innovative" to "single champions".

Li Pingchuan, the Chairman of HASO, stated in his speech that guided by the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech, Wasu will seize opportunities, meet challenges, continuously consolidate its core competitiveness, constantly enhance the enterprise's independent innovation ability, actively participate in the construction of a new power system, and contribute more to the high-quality development of China's power industry.
